The 5 best celebrity matches in WWE history ...

WWE has managed to put on some entertaining matches involving celebrities. The boxers, actors, football players or comedians involved with WWE can’t and shouldn't be made to perform a full-scale match.

1. Mike Tyson and Chris Jericho vs. Triple H and Shawn Michaels — WWE RAW, 2010 Mike Tyson is often associated with wrestling for his appearance in 1998 as the special enforcer at WrestleMania 14. During his appearance there, he knocked out Shawn Michaels. It was one of the more legendary celebrity appearances in WWE, but he didn't wrestle in a match.

However, during a 2010 episode of WWE RAW, he returned to the company and had an actual wrestling match. There, he teamed up with Chris Jericho to face D-Generation X. Mike Tyson's previous turn on DX was brought up several times and it was thought that he was against the group.

Jericho, Triple H and Shawn Michaels did most of the work in the match. Tyson was there for very little in-ring action, but when he finally got involved, he made the match better thanks to his actions. He turned on Chris Jericho during the match and knocked him out, joining DX. While he wrestled very little, the fans enjoyed the match

Outside of the boxing world, he also appeared in WWE. At WrestleMania XXIV, he faced The Big Show in a No Holds Barred Match. For most of the match, the giant dominated. The Big Show threw him around as if he were nothing. Mayweather had the assistance of his entourage during the match, but it looked like it would not be enough.

Regardless of the difference in height, one shot from Floyd Mayweather with brass knuckles proved to be enough. Mayweather hit The Big Show across the jaw with the weapon. The blow knocked him out and Mayweather won the match. Fans were shocked as Mayweather only needed one shot to bring down the giant.

While not the greatest show of athleticism, it was certainly an entertaining display for the fans. 3 Mr. T and Hulk Hogan vs. Paul Orndorff and Roddy Piper at WWE WrestleMania 1 Mr. T's tag team match with Hulk Hogan was possibly the most important celebrity wrestling match in WWE history.

WrestleMania 1 was star-studded and featured Mr. T and Hulk Hogan teaming up to face Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff. It helped to make WrestleMania the event it later became. Mr. T was extremely hot at the time and the rapturous atmosphere added to it.

The match itself was sloppy and chaotic, but Hogan and Piper helped improve it. The two wrestlers did most of the work in the match, carrying Mr. T, with Paul Orndorff also doing a good job. Unfortunately, Mr. T was not as capable in the ring and it showed when he entered it.

Despite all of that, this match was one of the first times that wrestling appeared on such a big stage. Mr. T's appearance was critical for WrestleMania. The buzz surrounding the match helped make it one of the most memorable celebrity WWE matches of all time. 4. Bad Bunny and Damian Priest vs The Miz and John Morrison at WWE WrestleMania 37 When Bad Bunny first appeared at the WWE Royal Rumble, fans weren't sure what to make of him. It looked like WWE included a celebrity on their show simply to be part of mainstream news.

Bad Bunny was criticized during his initial appearances for the promotion. Fans thought he would not be able to do much in the ring. When rumors first appeared that he would be performing at WrestleMania, fans met them with trepidation.

A few months on and the rapper may have been the best-ever celebrity to wrestle in WWE according to fans. His match, where he paired up with Damian Priest to face The Miz and John Morrison, shocked everyone. Fans were not ready for his athleticism, the fact that he hit the Canadian Destroyer, and the very real wrestling ability he showed. With Priest, Bad Bunny picked up an important win.

It was one of the best celebrity wrestling matches of all time, but there was one other, which was even better.

5. Team Pat McAfee vs. The Undisputed Era at WWE NXT TakeOver: WarGames

Pat McAfee had two WWE NXT wrestling matches last year. In both instances, he shocked the fans.

The first time was when he faced Adam Cole at NXT TakeOver XXX. Fans didn't expect much from him on that occasion. He blew their expectations out of the water, showing he was more than capable of wrestling in the ring. He was able to create quite the impact in the ring, keeping pace with one of the best wrestlers on the NXT roster.

The former placekicker then did the same the second time.

At NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2020, fans were already expecting a special performance from him. However, with the inclusion of other stars, they thought he'd take a backseat. That was not the case. McAfee was front and center as he battled The Undisputed Era and took an enormous bump off the top of the cage.

All told, McAfee might be the best celebrity to have wrestled in WWE. Now, as a full-time commentator on WWE SmackDown, fans will hope to see him return to the ring for a few more performances.
